Normal/Maintenance to the Normal position
Set time clock: Push all the detentes away (out) from the center and rotate the time clock 1 full turn.
Make sure a flow
switch is connected to the front panel circuit board terminal block (TB) TB-2
pins 1 and 2.
MANUAL OPERATION TEST
1. Apply power to unit.
The pool pump and PUMP ON indicator on the front panel will be off.
The LOW SPEED, NO FLOW and FREEZE indicators on the front panel will be off.
2. Turn the AUTOMATIC/MANUAL switch on the front panel switch to MANUAL.
The PUMP ON indicator will turn on.
The pump will turn on and run in high speed. [During normal operation, the pump would continue to run in high speed until the switch is returned to AUTOMATIC.]
After 15 seconds the NO FLOW light will not be lit.
3. Turn the NORMAL/MAINTENANCE switch to the MAINTENANCE position.
The pump will turn off.
4. Turn the NORMAL/MAINTENANCE switch to the NORMAL position.
The pump will turn on and run in high speed.
The PUMP ON indicator will be on.
5. Turn the AUTOMATIC/MANUAL Switch to the AUTOMATIC position.
The pump will turn off.
The PUMP ON indicator on the front panel will be off.
AUTOMATIC OPERATION TEST
1. Push some of the time clock detentes to the "on" position (detentes toward the center of the time clock). Rotate the time clock to an "on" position.
The PUMP ON indicator will turn on.
The pump will turn on and run in high speed.
2. Before 30 seconds:
The pump will switch to low speed. [During normal operation, once the time clock has turned the motor on the pump will run in high speed for either 3 or 6 hours depending on the setting of the S1 on the circuit board.]
The LOW SPEED light will turn on.
After one (1) minute of low speed operation the NO FLOW light will not be lit.
3. Rotate the time clock to an "off" position.
The pump will turn off.
The PUMP ON indicator on the front panel will be off.
OPTIONAL
