Bypass Instructions For SBX II Units

Find the diagram that matches your present power and pump wiring.
Then follow the instructions.

Have a licensed electrician perform the following.

SBX-402, SBX-502, SBX602

Turn off the circuit breaker to the pool equipment. Identify each wire. Then remove the wires from terminals 1 and 5 and install a wire nut on the pair. Remove the wires from terminals 3 and 6 and install a wire nut on the pair. Remove the wire from terminal 7 and cap the wire with a wire nut. When the circuit breaker is turned on the pump will run in high speed.

SBX-402A, SBX-502A, SBX-602A

Turn off the circuit breaker to the pool equipment. Identify each wire. Then remove the wires from terminal 1 and 6 and wire nut those together. Remove the wires from terminal 3 and 7 and wire nut those together. Remove the wire from terminal 8 and cap it off with a wire nut. When the circuit breaker is turned on the pump will run in high speed.
