Bio Guard OxySheen®

OxySheen "oxidizes" or "burns-up" organic materials that are in your pool. Such as body oils, sun tan lotions, saliva and urine. Also, organic materials from leaves, landscaping and rain (both the rain itself, and run-off from the rain) that end up in the pool. Once oxidized they are removed by filtration.

When the water is cloudy, has a slight tint to it or there is an "oil like film" on the surface the water usually needs oxidizing.

APPLICATION NOTES:

Initial Treatment should be 2 pounds per 10,000 gallons. (Do this before the Natural Purifier is turned on.)

When the copper level is in the normal range, about 1 to 1 1/2 cups per week is the recommended dosage for a 17,000 gallon pool. When water temperature is above 86°F, 1 cup twice a week is recommended. Do Not Add More Than 1 1/2 cups at any one time to a 17,000 gallon pool.

Bio Guard STRIP KWIK®

When a cartridge filter or D.E. grid is cleaned after rinsing off the debris, it is necessary to soak the filter to remove all foreign material. This applies to pools using all types of sanitizers. Rinsing the filter [even under a high pressure hose (which damages the filter material)] does not clean the filter properly or remove oils and grease. Not soaking the filter will greatly reduce its life and result in unnecessary expense for you.
STRIP KWIK^® removes grease and oil buildup from filter, results in better filtration, and lengthens filter run and reduces your maintenance costs, it is safe for all filter types.

APPLICATION NOTES:

1. Read and follow all instructions and cautions on the bottle.
2. Use this every time you clean your cartridge filter. Cartridge filters must be soaked each time they are cleaned (water does not do the job!). It will extend the life of the filter and save you money in the end.
3. This will extend the life of a DE grid - Use It!

BioGuard KLEEN_IT®

This product is an acidic filter cleaner, it removes scale, rust and deposits from the filter. It promotes better filtration while extending the filter run.
For scale removal on any filter, you must use STRIP KWIK^® first to remove greases and oils. Then follow label instructions for use of BioGuard KLEEN-IT^® .

BioGuard SPARKLE-UP®

During pool startup (before turning on the purifier) this product can be used to help remove metals in the water to prevent staining. This products also helps the filter to remove tiny particles of dirt, plaster dust, and dead algae during startup. Available in 1.5 pound buckets.

APPLICATION NOTES:

Read and follow all instructions and cautions on the bucket.

D. E. Filters

1. Thoroughly back wash filter, clean skimmer basket and hair & lint basket.
2. Set filter to normal position
3. Prepare a mixture of 1 part Sparkle-Up and 2 parts DE in a clean bucket of water to make up the normal filter charge.
4. Pour this slurry solution through the skimmer with the pump running.
5. Do not exceed the filter manufacturer's recommended maximum psi.

Cartridge Filters:

1. Remove, clean and replace cartridge, then with pump running, add 8 cups of Sparkle Up per 100 square feet of filter area.
2. Clean when pool clears, or if filter pressure reaches manufacturer's recommended maximum psi.

Sand Filters:
