There are
significant operational differences between the group of revisions A,B,C
and the group of revisions D,E for the Natural Water Purifier circuit
boards.
These boards
are used in Models 2001, 2051, 2500, 2550 Natural Water Purifiers. They
are also used in 2-Speed Pool Management Systems Model 5001.
Purifier Board Layout

How to
identify the revisions:
The best
way to tell the difference is to remove the connection to the electrodes.
- Then
turn purifier power on and vary the output adjustment knob.
- For revisions
A, B & C the output lights will increase and decrease when the output
is adjusted.
- For revisions
D,E the output lights will not illuminate.
Revisions
A,B, & C:
The output lights are an indicator of the adjustment setting. When the
jumper is on the left two pins of the “Limit” plug the Purifier max output
is set to 500 milliamps. When the jumper is on the right two pins of the
“limit” plug the Purifier max output is set to 250 milliamps. The “Check
Electrode” front panel light may not illuminate when the electrodes are
not connected to the electrode plug or the electrode circuit is open.
Revisions
D & E:
The output lights are an indicator of the actual Purifier electrical current
being conducted through the electrodes. When the jumper is on the left
two pins or no jumper is installed on the “Limit” plug the Purifier max
output is set to 500 milliamps. When the jumper is on the right two pins
of the “Limit” plug the Purifier max output is set for 750 milliamps.
(Other board components must also be different to achieve 750 milliamps.)
The “Check Electrode” front panel light will illuminate when the electrodes
are not connected to the electrode plug or the electrode circuit is open.
